This is the best banana bread that I have ever eaten and that is saying a lot because I have tried a lot of them. What I like about my recipe is how moist and flavorful it is. I developed this recipe on my own, based on some of my more favorite recipes that were not quite “right”. It is full of ripe bananas, heavy with walnuts and has a rich brown color. But what is special about this loaf is that it is sweetened with real local honey. This loaf is never dry even on day 3 or 4 (if it lasts that long…) Because lets face it, there is nothing worse than sitting down with a new loaf of banana bread that is as dry as the desert. This loaf is not that. I promise you will love every crumb of this bread. Go ahead and buy two… They freeze really well.
